My name is Gord Roberts, and I'm your teaching assistant (T.A.) for these summer evening sessions of Multimedia 1A03. I graduated in April of 1998 with an Honours B.A. in Modern Languages and Linguistics.
I studied Humanities Computing at McMaster for 2 of my undergraduate years. I have been T.A.ing Humanities Computing for the past year, and have been designing course software for the past 2 years; I even helped to redesign and upgrade the TACTWeb site that you will be using for this course! (You might also wish to visit my sites GamesBase and GamesBase 2, both of which were projects for Humanities Computing courses.)
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to e-mail me at robertgj@muss.cis.mcmaster.ca. This is the best way to reach me.
Office hours may be a bit difficult to figure out, given that we are only ever together for 4 hours at a time on Mondays and Wednesdays, and that I am busy with some of you for each of those hours. Any suggestions?
You will be able to find some version of my notes for each tutorial up here at this small corner of the Web. For even more help, though, I highly recommend the McMaster CIS help pages at http://www.mcmaster.ca/cis/index.html.
